Domain Name Registration is an important process if you desire to have your own website address.
In order for visitors to find your website using the domain name of your choice, you need to do two things. First, you need to reserve your domain name with InterNIC, the organization that registers domain names. Second, you need to provide InterNIC with the nameserver of your domain name, so that the IP address for your domain name can be disseminated throughout the Internet.

A domain name is the address of your web site on the Internet. An organization called the InterNIC is responsible for the master database of all domain names.
How can I find a Cheap Domain Name Registration?
The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers ICANN is a global non-profit corporation formed to oversee a select range of Internet technical management functions currently managed by the U.S. Government, or by its contractors and volunteers. Between now and September 2000. ICANN is gradually taking over responsibility for coordinating the assignment of protocol parameters, the management of the domain name and root server systems, and the allocation of IP address space.
A number of third party companies have licensed with ICANN to be domain name registration companies.
